Allow me to introduce myself
I’m Michael - the photographer behind Spaniel Photography.
I specialize in capturing public and private events, portraits, and pet photography with a focus on capturing authentic moments that reflect your family, business, and purpose. Anytime people gather together, no matter how big or small the gathering, it’s a moment worth celebrating and remembering. I’m honored to capture these moments for my clients.
A little about me? I’m based in Greenwood, SC where I live with my lovely wife, foreign exchange daughter, and two dogs and cats.
When I'm not taking or editing photos, I enjoy cooking new dishes, refurbishing antique furniture, playing games, and spending time outdoors with my family.
Why is it called Spaniel Photography?
That's a great question. Spaniel Photography is named for our two spaniels: Tracer and Bobbles.
Tracer, the beautiful pup you see in my logo, is an English Springer Spaniel that my wife and I adopted in 2021. Tracer is smart and playful and loves most everyone she meets. Plus, she's a stunning model and has been the subject of many photoshoots here at home.
Bobbles is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He joined our family in 2022 and is a constant source of entertainment and snuggles. Bobbles has the kindest heart and will melt yours if you spend too much time around him.
When it came time to pick a name for my photography business, it just made sense to name it for the type of dog that has brought so much joy and love into our lives the past few years.

STEP 02
Planning
We'll talk via phone or in-person (depending on your location) about your vision for your photoshoot. If you don't know exactly what you want your photos to look like, I can help you decide on things like location and clothing. We'll brainstorm until the details feel just right!
STEP 03
Picture time
Now for the most fun part! We'll meet up to capture your vision. There's no need to be nervous - I'll guide you and your crew through the entire process. Just enjoy making memories, and have fun!
STEP 04
Delivering photos
Based on the contract we put together, I'll deliver your gallery within the agreed-upon time frame. Galleries are always delivered on a professional photo publishing platform, so it'll be easy to share your beautiful new pictures with friends and family!
